Westonka/American Red Cross-affiliated Swimming Lessons We have adapted the American Red Cross program and customized it to fit Westonka Community Education & Services' needs best. It is a comprehensive and developmentally appropriate swim program that teaches all ages how to swim skillfully and safely. The prerequisite for each level is determined by age and successful demonstration of skills from the preceding level. Each level also includes water safety. Each class will begin with a brief skill assessment to ensure that everyone is enrolled in the appropriate level. All students must be able to perform the exit skills prior to moving to the next level. All of our instructors are certified through the American Red Cross. All classes are held at the Mound Westonka High School Pool - please enter through the Westonka Activity Center.
