    Ice Skating/Figure Skating | Learn to Skate Lessons Ages 4-13 Experience the joy of skating at one of the best Ice Rinks in Minnesota! Make memories with your friends as you begin the tradition of lacing up your skates at Thaler Sports Center. Each session will include free skate at either the beginning 10 minutes or the last 10 minutes of the session. Participants are required to bring a helmet (bike or hockey) and must provide their own skates.   • Westonka Hockey Rookie Camp (Ages 4 - 13)

    Westonka Hockey Rookie Camp Rookie Camp is designed for kids who have not previously played association hockey and is open to all ages. Each 40 minute session includes an introduction to hockey, basic skating instruction, skill development, and fun games to keep participants engaged. While completing a Learn to Skate program or having prior skating experience is recommended, it is not required to join. Protective equipment is available for use during the camp, and if the child continues with Westonka Youth Hockey, the equipment may be rented for a small fee for the rest of the season. Skaters are required to bring their own skates, undergarments, and mouthguard. Each participant will receive a shirt, jersey, socks, and stick, and will be invited to a celebratory pizza party following the final session.   • White Hawks Youth Basketball | Fall season (Ages 3 - 8)

    Westonka White Hawks Youth Basketball | Fall Season Westonka White Hawks Community Ed Youth Basketball Is designed to introduce your student to the basics of Basketball. Athletes will be placed on teams based on their age groups and White Hawk t-shirts are included! Each session will focus on skill development, with some sessions including 3 V 3 or 4 v 4 scrimmages. We will use four-foot high mini backboards/hoops for the younger players (three to four year-olds), and lower the backboards for the five to eight year old players. Since this is an introduction to basketball, we want to stress fun and skill development, not competition. Our coaches will be there each week to help your athlete along the way. Basketballs will be provided, but you are more than welcome to bring your own. Play with your Westonka friends and begin your journey as a White Hawk!
