White Hawks Youth Tennis Camps Ages 5 - 14 Our youth tennis program is designed just for kids! Players use smaller courts, kid-sized racquets and slower, lower-bouncing balls making the game easier to learn and more fun to play. Ice Skating/Figure Skating | Learn to Skate Lessons Ages 4-13 Experience the joy of skating at one of the best ice rinks in Minnesota! MIni Hawks Youth Track & Field Ages 4 - 11 Instructor, WHS Varsity Coach Sara Schwartz, Dr. Mike Schwartz and high school track team members Come run, jump and throw in our Youth Track & Field program. Open to kids ages four years old through Grade 5 who will have the chance to learn and participate in track and field events. Varsity Track Coach Sara Schwartz and her staff will lead the kids through a variety of events each night. Participants should bring their own water bottle and wear clothes they run around in! White Hawks Youth Basketball | Winter season Ages 3 - 8 Parents, we need your help! Get involved as volunteer coach by emailing Kurt Bowe at bowek@westonka.k12.mn.us Westonka White Hawks Youth Basketball is a fun, supportive way for kids to learn the basics of basketball. Players are grouped by age and receive a White Hawks t-shirt. Sessions focus on skill development through drills and mini scrimmages (3v3 or 4v4). Younger players (ages 3 & 4) use four-foot mini hoops, while ages 5-8 use lowered backboards to build confidence. Emphasizing fun, teamwork, and learning - not competition - coaches guide players each week. Basketballs are provided, but kids may bring their own. Session times may adjust if more gym space is needed. Our youth soccer program is all about fun, friends and learning the game. No tryouts, not stress, no extra fees and no travel. Athletes are placed on teams by age (and with friends if requested), then jump into exciting practices and small area games (4v4 or 5v5) which emphasizes more touches of the ball and more fun. Trained coaches guide your athletes weekly, focusing on skill development and enjoyment of the game. Soccer balls are provided and each player receives their own jersey. Play with your Westonka friends and start your journey as a White Hawk! Note: locations may shift if we need extra field space.
