The Westonka Community Preschool is a school readiness program, emphasizing activities in all areas of growth and learning.
is recommended for all children when they reach age three years. It's purpose is to affirm a child's development and identify any early needs for educational assistance, and is also a requirement for kindergarten enrollment.
We offer a 4-week class for new parents and their infants 0-12 months where we'll talk about all the developmental milestones and the joys and concerns of raising an infant.

this lcass is designed for children and their parents. It is for children who are almost three years old or who have already turned three but are not yet ready for preschool.
We offer our two year old's the opportunity to have a child-only day, and for our two year old's who are older and ready to separate, we have a Two Dayer class for 33+ months and their caregiver.
We have several family events that allow children of mixed ages and their families to interact together.
Toddlers are movers and shakers and we offer weekly classes that give them the opportunity to do so while you learn valuable information how to help your young learner grow and develop. These are parent-child classes for toddlers ages 13-23 months.
We offer weekly classes that are gradually separating for parents and their two year olds.
Introduction to Cinematography

Learn the fundamentals of visual storytelling through camera work, lighting, and composition. This course covers essential concepts such as shot types, framing, movement, exposure, and color theory. You’ll explore how technical choices influence emotion and narrative, while gaining hands-on experience. Through analysis of film examples and practical exercises, you’ll develop the skills to plan and execute visually compelling shots. Whether you’re new to filmmaking or building on basic knowledge, this class provides the foundation needed to capture stories with clarity, creativity, and purpose. Students must bring a DSLR or mirrorless camera with an interchangeable lens.
