  • Mini Hawks Ice Hockey Rookie Camp (Ages 4-8)

    Mini Hawks Ice Hockey Rookie Camp Ages 4-8 The Mound Westonka Hockey Association is offering a Rookie Camp for boys and girls from four years old to entering third grade. It is intended for players how have not had experience playing hockey or have participated in the MWHA in the past. There is no official skating requirements. We do prefer that skaters can stand up on the ice and be self-propelled. Having at least one session of participation in Learn to Skate is preferred by not required. Rookie Camp is a great opportunity for young players to be introduced to hockey in a fun, relaxed and supportive environment.   • Mound Westonka Boys Hockey Summer Youth Clinics | Mini-Mites (Entering Grades K-1) & Mites (Entering Grades 2 & 3)

    Mound Westonka Boys Hockey Summer Training Program Welcome to the Mound Westonka Summer Hockey Development program. We are excited to again offer our program to both youth and high school boys hockey players. The purpose of this program is to introduce and improve upon hockey skills and foster a love and passion for the game. All sessions are held at Thaler Sports Center. Mound Westonka Boys Hockey Summer Youth Clinics Mini-Mites & Mites Entering Grades K-1 (Mini-Mites) Entering Grades 2-3 (Mites) Mite sessions will run two days a week for seven weeks in June and July. The purpose of these clinics is to introduce simple hockey skills, progression upon those skills through repetition and build love and passion for the game in our youngsters in a comprehensive and competitive environment. This will be a great opportunity for our youngsters to work on hockey skills, learn together and grow together over the summer while still enjoying other sports and activities.
