The purpose of this class is to prepare youth ages eight to 11 to respond safely to a variety of situations when direct parental supervision is unavailable. Topics will include: door/visitor and phone safety, gun and Internet safety, house key and personal safety, first aid situations, severe weather, stove/oven safety, and more. We'll be making polymer clay creatures, and using them to make fascinatingly fantastical short films! We'll build miniature sets, write a story line, and film it all using the stop motion animation app, "iMotion HD." Then we'll publish our videos on the web to share with friends! This class is being offered as a four-session class so students have even more time to experiment and explore the animation process.
