    Sheep to Wet Felting for Kids Grades 3 - 5 Learn what it takes to bring wool from off the sheep to a finished felted project. Meet the sheep of Gale Woods Farm and learn a different felting technique each week. Participants will complete a different felted project each week to take home. All materials included.   • Hat Knitting for Super Beginners (Ages 11 - Adult **10 and under allowed with registered adult**)

    Hat Knitting for Super Beginners Ages 11 - Adult (ages 10 and under allowed with registered adult) Join Instructors Tracy Turner and Kelly Sanders as they continue the knitting tradition started by former Grandview Teacher Heidi Knudsen. We will teach you how to knit winter hats on a loom. This is perfect for those with no knitting experience! Tracy and Kelly will provide all the supplies to get started, including four different sized knitting looms, a knitting hook, yarn, and faux fur pom poms. Register early to ensure your spot in class! Already know how to knit but need some motivation or a refresh? Sit and knitters are welcome to join us too, just bring your own supplies. Students have the option to purchase additional yarn and pom poms at class, including Westonka Hat colors.     Hat Knitting | Advanced Stitch and Flower Making Ages 11 - Adult (ages 10 and under allowed with registered adult) Have you already taken the Beginner's Knitting class, or do you already know how to do the basic knit on a loom stitch? Well, now it's time to amp up your knitting game! Register for Advanced Stitch/Flower Making to make a newly styled knit hat. We will also work on making yarn flowers which are sure to add pizzazz to any project. Once you have learned the new stitch your hat options are endless! Cost of the class includes yarn to create one hat and a flower maker loom. Note: Participants should bring their orange 9-inch loom and knitting hook from the Beginners class. Students have the option to purchase additional yarn and pom poms at class, including Westonka Hat colors.
