Westonka White Hawks Youth Soccer | Fall Session (Ages 3 - 8)

Westonka White Hawks Youth Soccer | Fall Session Ages 3- 8 Westonka White Hawks Youth Soccer is designed to introduce your student to the basics of soccer. Students will be placed on teams based on their age groups and a White Hawks t-shirt is included! Each session will focus on skill development, with some sessions including 4 v 4 or 5 v 5 scrimmages with mini-nets and small fields. Since this is an introduction to soccer, we want to stress fun and skill development, not competition. Our coaches will be there each week to help your athlete along the way. Soccer balls are provided, but you are more than welcome to bring your own. Play with your Westonka friends and begin your journey as a White Hawk! Get involved as a volunteer coach. To sign up as a coach, email Kurt Bowe at bowek@westonka.k12.mn.us Parent/guardian or responsible Adult for each player must be present during all practices and games Note: meeting locations listed below may need to be adjusted if registration numbers dictate additional field space. Westonka White Hawks Youth Soccer | Spring Session Ages 3 - 8 Westonka White Hawks Youth Soccer is designed to introduce your student to the basics of soccer. Athletes are placed on teams based on their age groups and friend requests. We do not add the stress of tryouts, we focus on skill development and fun competition. White Hawk jerseys are included for all players at no charge. Each session will focus on skill development, more touches of the ball, and fun. Games/scrimmages will be 4 v 4 or 5 v 5 using mini-nets and small fields. Our coaches are trained and will be there each week to help your athlete along the way. White Hawks Soccer | STP - building from the basics (Ages 13-18)

White Hawks Soccer STP Building from the Basics Ages 13 - 18 Led by MWHS Boys Soccer Head Coach Manuel Jordan and his Fall coaching staff, the goal of the Summer Training program is to prepare incoming and current players for the upcoming Fall high school season. Twice per week during June and July, it is designed to help players improve their game by working on individual skills and applying them to game situations. Every session will have components designed to develop solid fundamentals, team and positional awareness, all while improving conditioning. This is a Co-ed program, where girls will train in their own group, separate from the boys. The program is intended for players who are looking to play high school soccer in the Fall, including incoming eighth grade players. Coach Manuel has been coaching high school soccer at MWHS for over 10 years. He has been the Head Coach for over five years. In 2022, the coaching staff guided the team to its best record and first Conference title.
