The Westonka Community Preschool is a school readiness program, emphasizing activities in all areas of growth and learning.
is recommended for all children when they reach age three years. It's purpose is to affirm a child's development and identify any early needs for educational assistance, and is also a requirement for kindergarten enrollment.
We offer a 4-week class for new parents and their infants 0-12 months where we'll talk about all the developmental milestones and the joys and concerns of raising an infant.
This category offers classes for children and their families in a wider range of ages.
this lcass is designed for children and their parents. It is for children who are almost three years old or who have already turned three but are not yet ready for preschool.
We offer our two year old's the opportunity to have a child-only day, and for our two year old's who are older and ready to separate, we have a Two Dayer class for 33+ months and their caregiver.
We have several family events that allow children of mixed ages and their families to interact together.
Toddlers are movers and shakers and we offer weekly classes that give them the opportunity to do so while you learn valuable information how to help your young learner grow and develop. These are parent-child classes for toddlers ages 13-23 months.
We offer weekly classes that are gradually separating for parents and their two year olds.
On October 2nd in the afternoon we will be going on a field trip to Fall Harvest Orchard outside of Delano, MN. Please use the following link to register for the trip. Registration will close on September 12th at 12:00 pm. Details are below:
Schedule:
12:30 pm - Load buses at Mound Transit Center, 5515 Shoreline Drive, Mound
12:40 pm - Buses depart promptly
1:10 pm - Arrive at the Orchard
2:45 pm - Board buses for departure
3:15 pm - Arrive at Mound Transit Center
Cost of the trip:
$0 - Students (trip fee covered in pre-paid registration fee)
$10 - Siblings (only those under age 6 can attend)
$12 - Adults attending the trip with their child (please only one per student attending)
