Early Childhood is made up of programs for families with children ages birth to kindergarten.
The Westonka Community Preschool is a school readiness program, emphasizing activities in all areas of growth and learning.
is recommended for all children when they reach age three years. It's purpose is to affirm a child's development and identify any early needs for educational assistance, and is also a requirement for kindergarten enrollment.
We offer a 4-week class for new parents and their infants 0-12 months where we'll talk about all the developmental milestones and the joys and concerns of raising an infant.
This category offers classes for children and their families in a wider range of ages.
this lcass is designed for children and their parents. It is for children who are almost three years old or who have already turned three but are not yet ready for preschool.
We offer our two year old's the opportunity to have a child-only day, and for our two year old's who are older and ready to separate, we have a Two Dayer class for 33+ months and their caregiver.
We have several family events that allow children of mixed ages and their families to interact together.
Toddlers are movers and shakers and we offer weekly classes that give them the opportunity to do so while you learn valuable information how to help your young learner grow and develop. These are parent-child classes for toddlers ages 13-23 months.
We offer weekly classes that are gradually separating for parents and their two year olds.
Westonka Football Passing Academy (SPECIALIST POSITIONS ONLY - QB, RB, WR, TE)
Entering Grades 5-12
The Westonka Football Passing Academy is a three day Grades 5 - 12 NON-CONTACT football camp that is dedicated exclusively to the specialist positions - QB, RB, WR, & TE. The Westonka Football Passing Academy will help players fully realize their potential on and off the football field. Whether you’re a QB, RB, WR, or TE, the Westonka Football Passing Academy will help you grasp the fundamentals of your position, and basic offensive and defensive strategies to improve, learn, and grow as student-athletes and football players. The Westonka Football Passing Academy will focus on the following components:
● Quarterbacks: Three and Five Step drops (Shotgun/Under Center), Progressions & Hot Throws, Footwork, Throwing Drills
●Running Backs/Wide Receivers/Tight Ends: Stances & Starts, Ball Catching Technique & Drills, Route Running, Releases
Participants will be grouped by age, position, ability, and experience to allow coaches to progressively teach basic and advanced techniques to best benefit each group. All participants will receive a camp t-shirt.
