MWHS Dance Team | Middle School Prep Clinic Grades 5-7 Summer training sessions for anyone potentially interested in joining the dance team this year or in the future. Mound Westonka Dance Team coaches and current team members will be working with middle school dancers on dance team technique (Jazz and Kick) along with teaching combos in both dance styles. Sessions will run in the months of June and July. MWHS Dance Team | Summer Training Program Grades 7 - 12 Summer training sessions for the Mound Westonka Hawkettes Dance Team, along with anyone potentially interested in joining the dance team this year or in the future. MWDT coaches will be working with dancers on technique and conditioning three to four days a week. Dancers are welcome to come to all practices, or as many practices a week that fits their schedules. Mound Westonka Tennis Hitting Clinics: Varsity and JV players We focus on improving fundamental skills of tennis, along with singles and doubles strategies. Coached by Varsity and JV coaches Paul and Reinbold, players participate in drills and competitive games and matches to improve their tennis game. Each 90 minute session also includes activities to improve footwork, agility, & endurance. Starting just last year, hitting clinics members will have the opportunity to play singles and doubles matches on Wednesday afternoons against players from nearby schools. Hitting clinics will happen in the morning and then match play will happen Wednesday afternoons from 1:00 - 3:00 pm. Tae Kwon Do Ages 7 - Adult Master Instructor Fred Baker is a Seventh Degree Black Belt and certified instructor with Song Moo Kwan and the World Taekwondo Federation. Participants of all ages can benefit from this traditional Korean Martial Art. Students will learn self defense techniques, develop self confidence, and experience the mental and physical benefits of training. Our class offers students a well-rounded training program to develop the body, mind and spirit. This is a great class for parents and children to experience together.
