The Westonka Community Preschool is a school readiness program, emphasizing activities in all areas of growth and learning.
is recommended for all children when they reach age three years. It's purpose is to affirm a child's development and identify any early needs for educational assistance, and is also a requirement for kindergarten enrollment.
We offer a 4-week class for new parents and their infants 0-12 months where we'll talk about all the developmental milestones and the joys and concerns of raising an infant.

this lcass is designed for children and their parents. It is for children who are almost three years old or who have already turned three but are not yet ready for preschool.
We offer our two year old's the opportunity to have a child-only day, and for our two year old's who are older and ready to separate, we have a Two Dayer class for 33+ months and their caregiver.
We have several family events that allow children of mixed ages and their families to interact together.
Toddlers are movers and shakers and we offer weekly classes that give them the opportunity to do so while you learn valuable information how to help your young learner grow and develop. These are parent-child classes for toddlers ages 13-23 months.
We offer weekly classes that are gradually separating for parents and their two year olds.
FIRST LEGO League
Grades 5 - 7 FIRST LEGO League Challenge is a program where students in Grades 5 - 7 design, build, program, and test an autonomous robot using LEGO Spike Prime robots to solve a set of missions. Students will engage in research, problem-solving, coding, and engineering to discover a solution to a real-world problem while building and programming a LEGO robot that navigates through missions. Their creativity, ingenuity, and hard work will be presented at the regional tournament. The Team Managers will act as facilitators to guide the students and help with building a robot, research, and understand core values.Prior knowledge of robotics or programming is not required, only a desire to learn and have fun!Challenge Season: Weekly team meetings will start at the beginning of the school year and meet after school at Grandview Middle School. Coaches will coordinate with parents if more meetings are needed as tournament time approaches. In late November or early December, we will compete in the Regional Tournament.
