The Westonka Community Preschool is a school readiness program, emphasizing activities in all areas of growth and learning.

We offer a 4-week class for new parents and their infants 0-12 months where we'll talk about all the developmental milestones and the joys and concerns of raising an infant.

this lcass is designed for children and their parents. It is for children who are almost three years old or who have already turned three but are not yet ready for preschool.
We offer our two year old's the opportunity to have a child-only day, and for our two year old's who are older and ready to separate, we have a Two Dayer class for 33+ months and their caregiver.
We have several family events that allow children of mixed ages and their families to interact together.
Toddlers are movers and shakers and we offer weekly classes that give them the opportunity to do so while you learn valuable information how to help your young learner grow and develop. These are parent-child classes for toddlers ages 13-23 months.
We offer weekly classes that are gradually separating for parents and their two year olds.
Beginning Spanish for Adult learners

The objective of this beginner Spanish Class is to support students in the process of the four major aspects of language learning: listening, speaking, reading and writing. We will incorporate creative and interactive learning methods such as group work, role play, music, writing a personal biography in Spanish, beginning vocabulary and grammar which will include the simple present and simple past, the Spanish alphabet, the concept of masculine and feminine and adjective placement. Importance will be placed on the needs of each student and their reasons for wanting to learn Spanish such as travel, career, or personal interest. Latin American culture and useful vocabulary to use on vacation or when conversing with Native speakers to help students familiarize themselves with the Latin American culture and different accents.
Instructor Lynn Olsen graduated from the University of Minnesota with a Liberal Arts degree and a Major in Spanish
