Early Childhood is made up of programs for families with children ages birth to kindergarten.
The Westonka Community Preschool is a school readiness program, emphasizing activities in all areas of growth and learning.
is recommended for all children when they reach age three years. It's purpose is to affirm a child's development and identify any early needs for educational assistance, and is also a requirement for kindergarten enrollment.
We offer a 4-week class for new parents and their infants 0-12 months where we'll talk about all the developmental milestones and the joys and concerns of raising an infant.

this lcass is designed for children and their parents. It is for children who are almost three years old or who have already turned three but are not yet ready for preschool.
We offer our two year old's the opportunity to have a child-only day, and for our two year old's who are older and ready to separate, we have a Two Dayer class for 33+ months and their caregiver.
We have several family events that allow children of mixed ages and their families to interact together.
Toddlers are movers and shakers and we offer weekly classes that give them the opportunity to do so while you learn valuable information how to help your young learner grow and develop. These are parent-child classes for toddlers ages 13-23 months.
We offer weekly classes that are gradually separating for parents and their two year olds.

Parent & Child Water Adjustment
Ages six months to two years old
Enjoy exploring the water with your child and learn fundamental safety and aquatic skills. Swimmers will enjoy water activities that use a gentle and structured approach with songs, games, and activities to help your child become more comfortable in the water. Children will explore with assistance blowing bubbles, submersion of mouth, nose, ears, and eyes, floating on their front and back, arm and leg movement in the water, changing positions in the water, and feeling safe in the aquatic environment. Parents will learn how to enter and exit the water safely with their little swimmer, setting up a cueing system for child entering into the water, and proper lifejacket safety for infant & toddlers
* Please note: children who are not toilet trained must wear a swim diaper and snug fitting swim bottom over the swim diaper.
