Early Childhood is made up of programs for families with children ages birth to kindergarten.
The Westonka Community Preschool is a school readiness program, emphasizing activities in all areas of growth and learning.
is recommended for all children when they reach age three years. It's purpose is to affirm a child's development and identify any early needs for educational assistance, and is also a requirement for kindergarten enrollment.
We offer a 4-week class for new parents and their infants 0-12 months where we'll talk about all the developmental milestones and the joys and concerns of raising an infant.
This category offers classes for children and their families in a wider range of ages.
this lcass is designed for children and their parents. It is for children who are almost three years old or who have already turned three but are not yet ready for preschool.
We offer our two year old's the opportunity to have a child-only day, and for our two year old's who are older and ready to separate, we have a Two Dayer class for 33+ months and their caregiver.
We have several family events that allow children of mixed ages and their families to interact together.
Toddlers are movers and shakers and we offer weekly classes that give them the opportunity to do so while you learn valuable information how to help your young learner grow and develop. These are parent-child classes for toddlers ages 13-23 months.
We offer weekly classes that are gradually separating for parents and their two year olds.
Learn to Swim * Winter Session - Saturday mornings *

Intermediate level
This level is for a swimmer who can submerge their head voluntarily, float on their front and back unassisted, has an understanding of freestyles with rotary breathing, and can swim backstroke. Swimmers will learn: freestyle swimming with rhythmic breathing (10 yards), backstroke (10 yards), fundamentals of elementary backstroke, introductions to, scissors kick, dolphin kick, breaststroke arms & kick, and the foundation of diving off the wall. Swimmers will also learn safety skills like: recognizing an emergency, jumping in water moving to back float for 10 seconds and recovery to standing, gliding on front for (2 yards) roll to back float (10 secs) then flip to front and continue swimming on front, bobbing to safety, reaching and throwing for safety, and treading water (30 seconds).
