The Westonka Community Preschool is a school readiness program, emphasizing activities in all areas of growth and learning.
is recommended for all children when they reach age three years. It's purpose is to affirm a child's development and identify any early needs for educational assistance, and is also a requirement for kindergarten enrollment.
We offer a 4-week class for new parents and their infants 0-12 months where we'll talk about all the developmental milestones and the joys and concerns of raising an infant.

this lcass is designed for children and their parents. It is for children who are almost three years old or who have already turned three but are not yet ready for preschool.
We offer our two year old's the opportunity to have a child-only day, and for our two year old's who are older and ready to separate, we have a Two Dayer class for 33+ months and their caregiver.
We have several family events that allow children of mixed ages and their families to interact together.
Toddlers are movers and shakers and we offer weekly classes that give them the opportunity to do so while you learn valuable information how to help your young learner grow and develop. These are parent-child classes for toddlers ages 13-23 months.
We offer weekly classes that are gradually separating for parents and their two year olds.
Practice Preschool
33+ months
This class is designed for children and their parents who will be turning three years old or have recently turned three, and are wanting to prepare their children for preschool. This class will help prepare children for that next step - preschool. This is a two-day a week class, with a parent-child day on Tuesdays and a child-only on Thursdays. Children will participate in activities that are designed to help prepare them for school readiness. We will build our social skills while we work on following directions; peer interaction, learning expectations, and much, much more. We'll get to play in our Outdoor Classroom regularly. Join us for this fun class! The child must have been 33+ months as of September 1, 2024.
