    Day Camp at Voyageur Environmental Center Entering Grades K - 6 No childcare in some of those last days of Summer vacation? We've got you covered! This week will be a fun outdoor camp experience - not far from home! Pick the days your child needs care, or have them come all four days! Each day will include activities such as archery, canoeing, outdoor living skills, fishing, GPS/orienteering, volleyball, swimming, arts and crafts, team building, hiking, nd more! This unique opportunity will take place at Voyageur Camp, a year-round environmental education center located in Mound. Voyageur Environmental Center is located at 7000 County Road 15. Campers will need to bring their own bag lunch and water bottle each day. More camp information will be emailed out to parents closer to the start of camp.     Gale Woods Farm * Junior Afterschool Farmers * Grades 1 - 4 Join in the springtime excitement of new life on the farm! Students will help prepare the gardens, care for the farm animals, and cook with farm produce in the education center. They will also explore the farm through hikes, wagon rides, games and more! New activities are planned each session. Classes are taught by the farm educators of Gale Woods Farm, a program of Three Rivers Park District. Bus No. 10 will transport students who attend Shirley Hills after school directly to Gale Woods Farm; please indicate at registration if you want your child to ride the bus from Shirley Hills to the farm. Hilltop students have the option of riding the transfer bus to Shirley Hills and then take the bus to the farm. All students need to be picked up at 6 pm at Gale Woods Farm. Parents, please note that District transportation to the farm is only provided if your child is registered through Westonka Community Education. Please register early as this camp will fill up fast!     Overnight Camp at Voyageur Environmental Center Ages 7 - 14 Want a fun Summer overnight camp experience not far from home? This week will be filled with fun outdoor learning activities such as swimming, archery, canoeing, outdoor living skills, fishing, GPS/orienteering, volleyball, swimming, arts and crafts, team building, hiking and more! This unique opportunity will take place at Voyageur Environmental Center, a year-round environmental education center located in Mound. Campes will stay in gender and age specific newly built cabins. The fee includes all meals, snacks, overnight costs, and all activities. After registration, you will receive a confirmation letter with details on what your child should bring to camp.
