In this class, your child will discover their inner chef and learn to cook with healthy foods in a fun, no pressure atmosphere. Each class will focus on your child understanding the importance of eating a variety of foods, learn to safely use cool kitchen tools, and making simple meals for themselves and the entire family. Students will be taught to interact with the food in a multi-sensory approach to place the focus on adding ingredients in their own style to prepare and share delicious creations of their own.Instructor Kelly Doty is a mother of four (including two picky eaters!) and speech-language pathologist with 18 years of experience teaching children birth to 18 in and out of classrooms and clinics, with an overall emphasis on environmental, whole-child learning approach.
